Iranian pontoons attempted to obstruct a British oil tanker close to the Gulf – before being driven off by a Royal Navy send, the Ministry of Defense has said.
HMS Montrose, a British frigate shadowing the BP-claimed tanker, was compelled to move between the three pontoons and the tanker, a representative said.
He depicted the Iranians’ activities as “in spite of universal law”.
Iran had taken steps to fight back for the seizure of one of its own tankers, yet denied any endeavored seizure.
Pontoons accepted to have a place with Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) moved toward the tanker, British Heritage, and attempted to carry it to a stop as it was moving out of the Gulf into the Strait of Hormuz.
