Brazil legend, Rivaldo has exhorted Real Madrid to sign Tottenham Hotspur director, Mauricio Pochettino, as the new mentor for Los Blancos following the sack of Julen Lopetegui.
Lopetegui was rejected Monday evening after only four months in his arrangement as Zinedine Zidane’s successor.
He was sacked after Madrid were pounded 5-1 by Barcelona at the Nou Camp.
Lopetegui was “temporarily supplanted” by ex-player and supervisor of Real Madrid Castilla, Santiago Solari.
However, Rivaldo is currently presenting a defense for Pochettino to assume control at the Santiago Bernabeu, focusing on that he was the correct supervisor to mentor Madrid.
“From what I’ve been hearing, Florentino Pérez acknowledges Mauricio Pochettino’s characteristics and is occupied with marking him,” Rivaldo told Betfair (by means of the Evening Standard).
“Pochettino is clearly a decent administrator with involvement in La Liga and therefore I trust he could be a decent choice for the club.
“Perez wasn’t expecting that things could turn out badly so rapidly this season,” he included.
“Madrid’s poor begin to the season may lead him to make a major interest in another mentor and perhaps purchase another goalscorer to supplant Cristiano Ronaldo.
“That is the place the likelihood of bringing Pochettino, alongside English striker Harry Kane, gets in the blend, however Real Madrid should contribute genuinely to accomplish both, as Tottenham won’t be keen on losing them effectively.
“I figure the two alternatives could be imperative for Real Madrid. They are enduring in advance, scoring not very many objectives and Kane could be the arrangement.”
