Veteran Nollywood Actress, Genevieve Nnajis motion picture has been selected for the 2020 Oscars in the class of Best International Film.
‘Lion heart’ is the first historically speaking section for Nigeria.
Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee (NOSC) had on Wednesday picked Genevieve’s ‘Lionheart’ as the nation’s accommodation to the International Feature Film classification of the 2020 Oscars.

“This is the main section ever for Nigeria. It’s a respect to be a piece of such a significant crossroads throughout the entire existence of Nigerian film.

Since the introduction of the NOSC in 2014, this is the first run through Nigeria is propelling a film to the Oscar, as past passages gotten by the advisory group didn’t meet fundamental criteria.
